Prayer
Prayer is the foundation to Christian faith. It is
the essence of a strong relatiionship with Jesus
Christ. Jeremiah 33:2-3 "This is what the LORD
says, he who made the earth, the LORD who
formed it and established it-- the LORD is his
name: Call to me and I will answer you and tell
you great and unsearchable things you do not
know."
Seniors Adults
Senior adults... better known as the "Live Wires" have a splendid time together. Your heart will be encouraged when you spend time with the "Live Wires" whether it's playing with the hand bells, going on one of their regular field trips, participating in a Sunday School class or working with one of our mission groups. If you want to have a fun time in the Lord, then come join us.
Sunday School
Our small group Sunday School setting is the perfect place to find a respite from the world, be encouraged, and grow in your Christain journey. We are currently on a journey through the Bible called "The Story." We are learning and growing in our knowledge of how God's "Lower Story" for our lives fits into His "Upper Story" for mankind.
There is an age group and a class suitable for everyone. We invite you to grow in your faith and in fellowship with the body of believers in small group Bible study each week.
Missions
New Hope has a passion for missions,
whether it be across the street or across the globe.
It might be providing food or power or building a handicap
ramp for someone in the community. It could be cleaning up after a hurricane on Gulf Coast. It could be building an orphanage or a church building or providing and delivering Christmas shoe boxes in Honduras. Youth & Children
God's Word says in Proverbs 22:6 to, "Teach your children to choose the right path, and when they are older, they will remain upon it." Our goal for youth and children at New Hope, is to teach and equip them in such a way that they will have a strong spiritual foundation with which they can face the joys and challenges of life. All of their teachings and activities are Biblically based and Christ centered in order to demonstate the importance of Christ in their lives.
Music
We worship and offer our praise to the Lord with a balanced blend of traditional and contempory music. Psalm 98:4 says, "Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth, burst into jubilant song with music." There is a place for you in our music program. You can choose from the sanctuary choir, praise team, drama team, men's choir, hand bells, or children's choir.
New Hope Preschool
In the fall of 2015, New Hope's Preschool will be celebrating it's twelfth year as a ministry outreach. The program is for 3-5 year olds and meets on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings from 9:00am - 12noon. It is a wonderful place for your child to receive his or her spiritual and educational foundation for life. Call the church office for more information and to reserve a spot for your child for this year.
